A Note About Bandcamp
A slight change in pricing policy
Hi eveybody,
This is about my Bandcamp site, and how I offer releases.
I have a number of releases that are pay-what-you-want, with no minimum. I like to do this, but one of the consequences is that Bandcamp no longer offers my full discography. I would like to restore that. It seems to be a reasonably popular option, and it's also a great convenience for anyone who wants to get a big bunch of my music all at once.
Therefore, from now on (or until I make some other change), I am going to put a minimum price on many of these releases. The prices will be very low. But I will continue to allow new releases to be pay-what-you-want for a limited time (probably two to four weeks from publishing date) and I will try to always make it clear how long it will be before I add a minimum price.
These are the titles that will change very soon. I will leave them as they are for the next two days, so feel free to take advantage:
Mesektet
Elegy for Harold Budd (2023)
Hysteresis
Chthonic Resonances
My two newest releases, Involution (Live at Harvestworks) and Homage to Hennix, will remain pay-what-you-want for a couple more weeks.
I hope this does not alienate anyone, My releases will always be very affordable, and when they are new, you will be able to get them for no money at all.
Thanks,
Dave
